Voting Question: Can a felon in ca get low income housing?

i have a daughter thats 11 and about 7 years ago i was on drugs and acting crazy i commited a feoley did my time on parole and got off early and have been off parole since 2008 with no more crimes. i havent been able to find a job so i was trying to get lowincome housing for me and my daughter i know i mad mistakes but i learned and now im a diffrent person. my felony was grand thieft auto, dumb i know so if anyone knows anything about this please let me know i live in san bernardino ca. my daughter is with me to stay im her mom and that's it. theres no one to leave her with. i wonldnt leave her again anyways.. i just needed someone who knows about this to help me out....
