I was stopped today by a driver by going into an apartment complex, she told me "could you please not let your dog poop in my grass" I think she might be a manager but I don't know, I've never seen her around here before, ok well I told her I was sorry and I was the only one out of many dog walkers who went by that stopped to pick up the poop. Now She cought me with a doggie bag in my hand picking it up and told her. She then told me to go walk my dog by other apartments, I told her I had to walk my dog the same route everyday because it was less darker going north (going by her apt). she then said well "That's why we don't allow dogs in this complex". I then told her that he was not in the complex but rather the front apartment entrance yard which is close to the curb., and That I was cleaning. she started blabbing and I called the police and asked them they told me it's legal as long as you clean it up. well What do you guys know or think? any dog /apt law knowers? I am in San Bernardino county ,CA. thanks! The police might have told me it was "ok" in a rush since it was a dispacher.
